I enjoyed my stay at Hilton Garden Inn in San Antonio. The location made it easy to get to both downtown and my wedding venue, just 15 minutes away. Check-in felt smooth, and the staff greeted me warmly. My room was clean, spacious, and had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The mattress and pillows were really comfortable, leading to some great nights of sleep. I looked forward to breakfast each day—Mr. Jimmy's omelette was definitely a highlight. The indoor pool was open, but a bit dirty-looking, so I didn't use it. There was also an outdoor patio for smokers next to the lobby that was convenient. I appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the airport, which made traveling easier. Now, the not-so-great stuff, while the jacuzzi tub seemed like a luxury, I found it unnecessary for a business stay and it was tough to get in and out due to the high sides. Overall, I felt the hotel offered most amenities needed, but some areas could use freshening up.
